Chief Technology Ofﬁcer & Quality Director
Gregory Schaeffer completed training in management and studied chemical engineering. He brings over 15 years’ experience from the pharmaceutical industry & medical technology (Novartis, Roche, Celgene, Johnson & Johnson). He is also chairman of the Swiss Safe Access for Cannabinoids Association. He has in-depth knowledge of the production of APIs (active pharmaceutical ingredients), quality control and quality assurance according to EU GMP guidelines as well as of the development and verification/approval of GMP documentation. Gregory is an internal auditor, certified by the British Standards Institution (BSI). He is also a member of ASTM (USA) and SNV (Switzerland) for the standardisation of medicinal cannabis. Gregory was one of the first patients in Switzerland to receive an exemption from FOPH (Swiss Federal Office of Public Health) for the use of medicinal cannabis to treat chronic pain.

Toby Shillito has completed a whole range of Master’s degrees in the areas of management, corporate finance & responsibility and strategic business development. He is a recognised expert and prominent lecturer at international conventions.

Goran Maznevski has many years of management experience in government institutions. He is also the Vice Director of the Chamber of Energy in North Macedonia. In addition to managing the overall production site, he cultivates contacts with local authorities and ministries in Macedonia.
Michael Alexander Palazzo
Michael Alexander Palazzo has many years' experience in developing techniques for processing herbal ingredients, and particularly in managing the processes for producing wine and herbal spirits. Michael is very quality conscious and attaches great importance to the responsible use of resources. With his versatile experience in the fields of construction, marketing, logistics and production management, he brings a lot of specialised knowledge to the realisation of our production facility.
Our Advisory Board
Thomas Gross possesses many years of experience as a consultant, in operational management, as an entrepreneur and in supervisory functions. He has a law degree from the University of Neuchâtel and an MBA from MIT in Boston. After six years at McKinsey, he created the in-house consulting unit of Credit Suisse and subsequently headed their securities processing. Between 2009 and 2013, he was the CEO of SIX Financial Information. In 2013, he became an independent management consultant with a focus on the support of supervisory boards and management teams as well as on critical projects. In tandem with this, he has been active as an entrepreneur since 2015 as the owner of the industrial carpentry Marobag AG and as a shareholder in BINT GmbH, a system integration firm; he also holds mandates as an independent member of supervisory boards.
Osama Rifai studied business management at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland. His professional career began in the banking sector, where he worked in various fields for renowned international banks in Zurich, London and Lugano. His work included wealth management, capital market financing, loan and project financing, restructuring and risk management. He then moved into industry. He first managed financial services in Europe for a large multinational corporation and thereafter took on responsibility for global corporate finance and treasury. After more than 15 years of leadership and line management responsibility, he founded his own consulting company about 15 years ago. The focus of the consulting services is on financial matters. He supports companies and entrepreneurs in an advisory capacity as well as in operational interim functions. In addition to his consulting work, he also teaches at several prestigious international business schools.
Fabio Oetterli is an attorney and tax expert with more than 30 years’ experience in executive positions in the financial industry. Among other things, he held the position of Secretary of the Supervisory Board and the Corporate Management of CS Holding as well as the position of Corporate Tax Manager at Julius Bär Group. Owing to his extensive activity in key positions at various banks and expert bodies, he possesses unparalleled interdisciplinary know-how (expertise in business, tax, compliance and operations). His extensive expert knowledge and his experience make him an outstanding consultant and sparring partner.
Prof. Dr. Felix Niggli
Head of the Oncology Department at the children’s hospital in Zurich and well-known oncologist who practices his profession with enormous passion. Felix Niggli has been in retirement since the onset of 2020. He supports the MediCrops® group of companies in research and networking with doctors.
Goce Georgievski has an MSc in crop cultivation. He is the author of numerous scientific publications on greenhouse cultivation and plant management. He is Director of Science and Research at the Macedonian Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. With strong international connections to scientific universities and government, he will lead the pharmacological research and development and ensure compliance with the highest standards and regulatory requirements in our operations.
