University of Guelph: Researchers First to Unlock Access to Pain Relief Potential of Cannabis

Researchers at the renowned University of Guelph in Canada have now succeeded for the first time in gaining a deeper insight into the methods of action of cannabis in pain therapy. The focus is on two molecular compounds (“Cannflavin A and Cannflavin B”) that belong to the flavonoids. With these atomic compounds in high concentrations, the substances could make pain treatment possible without the side effects and addiction risk of opium-based drugs.
